Full Circle Asian-Marinated Flank Steak

  • ½ cup Full Circle Ginger Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup Full Circle Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 beef flank steak (about 2 pounds)

In a heavy plastic storage bag, combine all ingredients except steak; mix well. Place steak in bag with marinade and seal completely. Place in refrigerator and marinate 30 minutes or more. Preheat broiler. Remove steak from marinade and broil for 8 to 12 minutes for medium-rare, turning once during cooking time. Extra marinade may be heated in a small saucepan over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes until hot and reduced slightly. Allow steak to stand for 5 minutes, then thinly slice the steak across the grain. Serve with heated marinade, if desired.
